I have just joined Moose Saloon...
Please help me prepare SCJP 1.5.
I have so many questions -
What are the books/Materials to be referred?
Any study material available on-line?
and so on...

Hi Bindu,

Welcome to JavaRanch. It is for sure that you will get valuable information round here regarding SCJP(in this forum).

The best book on the planet for SCJP is by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates shortly called "The K&B book". Go and get that first. The Indian edition is cheaper. Once you are confident with the topics, you can go for mock exams from EPractice labs, Whizlabs, JQ Plus, Enthuware(Fully Free), Marcus Green Mock exams. Anyone please provide her with the links.

APART FROM ALL THESE YOU HAVE JAVARANCH!!

Regards,
Jothi Shankar Kumar. S

I may not be the right person. You are the best judge for yourself. Anyways, I would suggest to takeup a few mock exams and when you start scoring well on those mock exams and with the same confidence take another mock exam which will be your SCJP real exam. Now you are certified.
