Hi,

I want to buy practice mock exams, especially would like to practice tests based on topic wise sections or split by sun's exam objectives. I am looking forward to JQ+ or ePractize Labs or Whizlabs. Would like to get some feedback form any rancher who had used any one of the above 3 mentioned practize exams.

Thanks!

Hi Namit,

One cannot say which one is good or which one is bad. If you are looking for chapter wise mock questions, then you should go for e-practice labs. I have used it and it looks good. Whizlabs as well is framed well. I'd say you can go for both.

JQ plus I guess is a freeware and I did not try it as of now. Guess that should also be good. In conclusion, it is totally upto you which one to choose.

Just to clear some confusion, JQPlus V5 offers topic wise mock exams as well.
Also, JQPlus V4 (for older version of SCJP) is free. JQPlus V5, for the current version of SCJP is not.

Hi Paul,

As per your statement: "Also, JQPlus V4 (for older version of SCJP) is free",
suggests that you are giving away the mock exams for scjp1.4 for free. I checked on this link: http://www.enthuware.com/jqplusv4/

Also, i downloadaed the trial version of JQPlus V5, but it doesn't seems to be presenting any sample tests. You can only see the tree structure in the left pane. Is there any section which we can access?

Thanks!

hello,

I wrote something about Whizlabs simulators in general recently.

An advantage of Enthuware products is that with one click they bring you from an answer to the corresponding part of their forum. So if you think that an answer is incorrect, which is often the case in both Enthuware and Whizlabs products, at least you can immediately find out whether it really is incorrect. It is frustrating in Whizlabs that when you think you are right and the simulator is wrong you cannot easily share your opinion and see what others thought about it.

1. You can get JQPlus V4 from here: http://enthuware.com/specialorders.html

2. There is a 'Sample Test' node in the left tree. Right Click on it and select "Take This Test". Rest of the options are available in the full version only.
