dear friends
i am trying the demo of JavaMailServlet that is provided with
javamail-1.2 package.this is to connect to a IMAP server.
i gave the IMAP servar name as :202.54.30.2 (our ISP)
& valid username,password.it gives the exception like
javax.mail.MessagingException: Connection refused; nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
can i use other IMAP server.ie i have account in hotmail,rediffmail,yahoo
can i use these as IMAP server

Hi!
Well check if you have the Imap service running.. coz I got the same exception wen testing my code.. n I found that de server wasnt runing the service den.. after I got de service running the exception disappeared n de code worked well..
