Does anyone know when will be the last day for this exam to be given? (1.4)
I see that the book for the 1.5 exam is not available until May 2007 through amazon.com...

Only Sun can tell that. But, and you might already know this, the 1.4 certification will remain valid even if 1.4 exam is discontinued.
