Hi,

I am a SCJP in Chicago,USA and I am willing to work for free on a short term project. I would prefer projects with Servlets and JSP but any other challenging Java project is acceptable. I have a technical diploma from NIIT and have skills in SQL, HTML, UML and JSP.

I am doing this to help upgrade my resume while I prepare for the SCWCD. I will request a testimonial at the end of the project.

Sen Affram.
SCJP.

Welcome to JavaRanch.

Why don't you get involved in an open source projects that interest you? Alternatively, if you want to be with a company, look for internships.

Hi,

I am in the same situation, except I am in Singapore. I am also interested in using my skills in j2ee to its limits.

Are there also open source projects that involved the full j2ee? (including ejb and web service)

Because I am not in USA, there has to be some sort of remote development environment.

Regards,
Jesus

Hi,

Just like you I just got the SCJP1.5 and I'm studying SCWCD... I'm on page 130 in the HFSJ book, excellent material.

My employer here, who offers language courses for executives, is in need of a class cancellation / reminder / rescheduling system, he'll also be paying for it. Would be nice to make this web based, so clients, teachers and administrative personnel can log on.

If you're interested, please leave me a message and we can talk about it. Btw, he will pay for it although it probably won't be anything significant... brazilian currency, you know.

Hi guys, thanks for reaction on my post through PM, the project's going alright and is honestly speaking quite easy... so I think I'll just finish it all alone.

Thanks again and good luck to you all!

Be reasonable. You can't destroy everything. Where would you sit? How would you read a tiny ad?
