Hi folks,

I just wanted to check with you who are already SCJP's or who are currently preparing for SCJP as how you guys are managing time...

Its getting real tough for me, I don't work in Java but I have been working in Java and I do have a personal passion for it...If I am working in Java its going to help me a bit with studies also. But then, after 12 hours of working even I start studying I am unable to concentrate more than 30 minutes [ ]

Since, I am unable to study I am feeling guilty...I am losing my confidence...Its kinda personal war inside myself. I am trying all out of the way to do it...miserably failed.

Just pour in your thoughts...May be some of them here are facing the same issue as me...

I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place...Sorry, if I am posting it in the wrong place.

Thanks,
Neo

Hi I am in a similar fix for last few days, has been occupied with other things and feeling guilty of not studying. Though since am working in J2EE, I take some time to make a few practice code snippets during the day. Also, I carry my book to work and try to read a bit during travel(I am in a car pool) or wenever I get some 20-30 mins. off, I also browse thru some topics on javaranch during the day, but still not feeling prepared a bit, doing miserably in self test and confidence is hitting rock-bottom

At first, I planned to use 2 weeks to prepare the exam.

Now I found I made a mistake. It's not so easy to be familiar with everything in the exam although I already to work as java developer for half a year.

There is a method when you use 15 minutes minimum every day, and when you can get more, do more, it will take more time (6 months aprox) but you can still get it this way.

Good luck.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
