Hi,

I am a new member in this group.
I am planning to take SCJP 1.5. Now I am referring Kathe's SCJP 1.5 book.
Is it any other book/question bank for SCJP 1.5 available in market?
I have seen Whizlabs SCJP 5.0 Training (with preparation kit). Is it really worth?
Can I clear the exam using this kit?
Please help me.

Thanks,
Shahul

Short answer. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Long answer. If you are using the Sierra/Bates Java 2 book, that should be enough. The Whizlabs package is worth the fee, as it gives you many sample questions and tracks your progress. With those two items and maybe a few online mock exams, you should be fine.

You should Read K & B at least Twice.
And then Buy Preparation kit if you can afford training kit also good but not that required..preparation kit is enough. And you will be done with good marks in SCJP..

The book, other mock exams and lots of practice should be enough

You might want to take a look at JQPlus V5 as well, which is currently available for $18 after discount.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
