I am planning to give scjp exam within the time span of three weeks.
I am in confusion whether I should go for 1.4 or 5 version in this short period of preparation as I am running short of time

Hi Shachi

I am also appering for SCJP1.5. Earlier I was appering for scjp1.4 but I found 4 topics are newly added to SCJP1.5 and rest are the same. So I decided to go for 1.5 instead of 1.4.


You can clear exam within 3weeks. But you have to take care of few things

1) More and more Mockpapers solutions.
2) Daily 5 hrs study.
3) More and more practicle practise.
4) Keep surf to the forums you will find many new things.
5) Go for Books like KathySerra, Khalid Mughal.


Keep in touch I am also preparing. so we can discuss various topics to each other and with other ranchers too.

Three weeks should be enough, but again it depends how much time you are going to spend per day. If you are able to spend 4 hours per day it will be possible.
