Java mail help!!!!  RSS feed

Hi there,
I am trying out the java mail from my aplet using JSMTP.It is only after some tome I realsied that I might need SMTP sever running in my machine .Now how can I get one.I have a Win'98 os,can I download SMTP server in it,since using remote SMTP server is not working.
Can anyone guide me.

I recommend that all Java Mail questions be addressed to the Other APIs forum. Especially as there is a book promotion going on there at the moment, so if you carry on with this thread you might win a copy of Core Jini!
I've now moved this thread to Other APIs.

Of Course You can run a SMTP server on a windows 98, There must be dozens free available on the net.(Search For Them)
Download on but the only htin you need to take care it needs to be connected to ISP for mail download & upload.
In Fact we did the same for our project.
