Hi all ,

I am new to java and know about core java only...
I want to know is it compulsory to take SCJA exam before
taking SCJP...

or can I direectly take up SCJP and start preparing for it..
and also tell is it possible to prepare for the exam in 30 days as
i know core java ad had to practice few tests..

please guide me...

There is no prerequisite for SCJP. You can directly take SCJP.

The exam time depends on your confidence level and the subject knowledge of Java
