I am a newly starter of JAVA, I just bought a bigginer's book and finished it.
I found myself very interested in Java, so I want to take a SCJP,

ok, here is my plan to take the exam, you guys please give me some advices of how to prepare:

I think, first, I need to buy another intermediate level book, while use Java in practice in my school's website and here or there;
after I have a bit base, I come to Ranch regularly to boost my skill,
and then buy mock exams;
and then take the exam;<b>(all done in one year)</b>

guys, is that possible?

Hi,

Actually you can do it with the Head First Java and the K&B exam guide, books beside you with less than a year.

Good plan, and yes, do as much mocks as possible ...

Best of luck ...

so you think it s possible then?! nice!
yes, the bigginer book that I finished is the HeadFirst, but I do not supposed that is enough, since I encounter many problems here and there all the time.
thank you for you suggestion
