Is static variables are stored during serialization?
give me some rationale.....and guide some reference to read
please anyboby guide me..

No. They are not saved.
Read K&B Chapter 6 on Serialization.
Reason- when you are saving instance objects, having static variables saved doesn't make sense as they belong to the class and NOT the object.
