Hi,

There is this bug on my head that keeps hunting me saying "you might fail the exam !". I tried one exam before which is SCJA(When it was free)and I failed it with just 2 points away. Now the company I'm working on gives a free certification to everyone who wants to be certified. The pressure is on me since I'm one of those what we call PIONEER for the SCJP cert in the company.

I've taken Dan's exam guide and I'm always reading Kathy's book. I've taken the mock exam from our site here. What I mean is I think I'm ready but I got this new mock exam from whizlabs "the new edition" the questions are mostly super hard. I'm getting 50%, 52% which I think is pretty low and everytime I think about cert my bug on my head hunts me back. Any good advice? thanks.

Hi,

You can be confident that you will pass...but it will come from within..Give a lot of mocks...Whizlabs..Enthuware...all free mocks on this site...Sun practice mocks...and each time you get the question wrong...research and revise the objective related to that question.

Get your doubts solved here...Give it two - three months till you feel you will definately pass the exam...I am sure you will get that feeling that you will definately pass the SCJP yourself .

Thanks,
megha

I think you just need to buy voucher (with the priority code on Sun page) between March 21 and June 23, 2007.

I know what it is like. I'm also a pioneer in our company. And with the pressure, I should take the exam also ASAP-yesterday-was-late(tm).

I guess, there is a light side of all this. And that is, I can learn new language :-). Right, I never used Java before on anything longer than... hmm, 10lines? My job keeps me busy 8-10 hours daily in C++. Of course, I can get a break and check javaranch :-).

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
