removing duplicate key,value pairs from hashmap

Hello there

Can someone please let me know how to remove duplicate (key,value) pairs from a Hashmap.

hi Chaityana,
in a HashMap keys will always be unique with one null entry permissible, if you are getting duplicates then you need to look at your hashCode() and equals() methods inherited from Object class which decides the equalities of two keys.Go through the API for more.

thanks for the reply.

actually i used a wrong SOP so i printed the saem key again and confused.

now i used a keySet and got my job done.
