i am working as a lecturer i knew little bit in java. i planned to do my scjp5 in the month of sep. tell me which book to read and practice for the exam. i want to do the exam well. how much time i have to spend daily to do the exam well.

1.Read K&B and Khalid mughal's A Programmer guide to java certification books.
2.At least you need to prepare for 3months
3.Test urself As much as possible using the mock exams.

I not scjp guy but i got the above points from some one who did scjp.

As for the time needed for the exam, that totally depends on your proficiency with java.
