It depends on how much the certification helps you. If you learn something and gain something from it its good enough to give it a go. If you want to do it - do it.

well,
just hardly an hour ago i gave exam and as per my experience i can say the real exam is easier than most of the mock exams. and its worth doing not only for the namesake, but it also teach us how to develop an application in java.
if you are really interested in java, then go for it.

Thanks to you!

It is reasonable that you have articulated your suggestions.

I attempt to go for it without doubt.

You've come to the decision based on one reply? Don't forget, that it is entirely up you everyone if the certification is worth. For some people it may be an advantage, but for some it could be even waste of time.

For instance, my employer pays all my certificates (except CAE) and that raises my motivation to get them. It is challenge to test if my knowledge is sufficient to pass the test.

How many replies should be enough to base a decision on???

Had your employer not paid for the certs the challenge wouldn't had been there???

You might end up being disappointed if you dont plan this well. Dont fix any shot term target. You should probably be saying to yourself 'I wanna do this in 3 months or less'. If you are ready within 3 months or less give it a shot. Good luck.
