HI all,
i am planning to give SCJP5 on 6th of august.
I have already completed K&B.
I am scoring on an average of 67% in the free mock tests provided by marcus.
I have planned to take all the tests in july(both free nad whizlabs).
I am unable to practice lots of small programs by myself due to lack of time and resources.
Can you please suggest, where do i stand now???
and also ways to improve and of course areas to improve on...
I have heard that to get a good score you have to be particularly strong in threads and generics topics...is it true???
please guide me.....
thanks

Hi,
Give some mock tests.Recognize your weak areas and prepare on it very well. For exam you need to every topic thoroughly so it is not that only generics and threads you need to know very well. So prepare well and you can post your doubts here always. All the best

Hi,
I had just used the trial version of whizlab. I did not buy it. Its good but if you are good in concepts i dont think that you need to buy whizlab. So what can i say you is solve any one of the exams given with k&b because they are tougher than the real exam. You will come to know the areas in which you are weak so prepare on those topics very well and give the second exam. Even there are other mock exams available so solve those and if you are really interesred in buying whizlab then go for it.All the best

Regards
Nik

Hi
pattnayak
I think in my opinion it is not safe to go for exam without scorring 80% in Pratice exams .If you feel some weakness in some topics so better you solve some Dan Questions that is really very good for SCJP aspirant.
I am just provide the link for that. Its really pretty nice just hit this link.

Hi
debasmita pattnayak

You are right but the basic concepts are same.
SCJP1.5 have only some additional things like some classes ,some methods...
But rest of all are same.
I just recommended you this because there is no such type of questions(topic wise)
available at any portal.
