Hi Venk,

welcome to the Ranch!

A good start point is the SCJP FAQ, there are also some links to mock exams there.
Recomended book is the "k&b" book:
SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 5 Study Guide (Exam 310-055) (Certification Press Study Guides)
by Katherine Sierra and Bert Bates

ISBN-10: 0072253606
ISBN-13: 978-0072253603

Only your posting is a bit on the wrong place, perhaps somebody move it to the SCJP forum (also a nice place to study).

Yours,
Bu.

Be reasonable. You can't destroy everything. Where would you sit? How would you read a tiny ad?
