Download Episode III
Get Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith! Watch on your PC, burn to DVD/VCD.

Leads to fetchflix.com which offers unreleased (and recently released) movies for download.

Typical scam operation site: only way to contact them a hotmail address, obscure referral and "affilliate" service, pay before you get any real information (which I didn't fall for of course), etc. etc.

I just verified this. You can go to this thread and see it for yourself. It was there when I looked anyway.

Jeroen,

Thanks for reporting this. I contacted the Google AdWords support people and asked them to take down this ad.

cheers.

P.S. Seems they haven't done it yet. Just noticed the same ad on this thread (oh the irony).

Not too surprising - the content of this thread probably matched the keywords for the ad...

oh, it's not surprising. But the irony is there

Not dissimilar to Bush/Cheney '04 ads being portrayed next to commentaries on websites run by Kerry lovers

We have blocked the ad (well, Tom did. Thanks, Tom!) The change may take a few hours to propagate. If you see any other inappropriate ads, please let us know -- we have a procedure in place for dealing with it now.

Just on this page now. Someone'd better tell google to more carefully screen whom they accept as customers, this is doing little for my trust in google ads (and thus the clickthrough rate).

In order to block it, I need to know the URL. I have ad-blocking software so I never see these ads.
