how do I run this code using the command line?

I try using - java Test - in the bin directory and the .java file directory, it gives me NoClassDefFoundError.

From the directory that contains the bin directory, type...

java bin.Test

If a class is in an unnamed package -- which is the default when no package is specified -- then its fully qualified name is simply the class name. But if the class is within a named package, its fully qualified name is packageName.ClassName. And this is found in the directory that contains the packageName directory.

See JLS - 6.7 for details.
