CAN U SUGGEST ME LIKE WHICH ONE SHOULD I WRITE NOW 1.4 OR 1.5

It's depend.
I think it better to take the 1.5 because there are many things to learn from the jdk 1.5(generic, enum, for-each, annotaions, boxing-autoboxing...)

Its always best to go for the latest technologies. Go for SCJP 1.5. You will really love it.
