Does JavaRanch advertise for UK based jobs? I find most of the jobs based in US.
BTW I am looking out for London based java jobs. Any offer?

I don't think Javaranch per se advertises for any jobs. But it is a US-based site, and I would hazard a guess that most people who post here are interested in US-based jobs.
Have you tried the uk job websites? (eg monster, stepstone, jobsearch?)

There are lots of people from London using JavaRanch. I don't see why somebody from london might not stand up and say "I work for a company in london that is hiring Java people!"

True, it's just that the impression I get from the discussion is that the vast majority of folks here are interested in US-based work. You're right, there's no reason at all why someone shouldn't stand up and say that. But there is also a difference in the variety of choice between looking for work and waiting for it to tap you on the shoulder. Just my humble tuppence.
