Hello,
I was fired from my mainframe job recently. I missed a deadline for a project, and didn't ask for help towards the end. They thought I wasn't being communicative enough, and so, gave me the boot. I have been emailed an offer to discuss a job using C, and was wondering what I should tell the person who would interview me. I fear that if I tell him I was fired, that will make for an abrupt end to the call. I feel much more confident in object-oriented programming, as facilities for practicing are more available than with legacy programming, fwiw.
Thanks,
Aaron
