I heard about an opportunity with a consulting firm who would send the consultant to a Java training program and then put him on the job. But I don't know the name of the company. Who are the major companies in this area?
Thanks,
Nelson

that's www.setfocus.com if I am right. But they only accept US citizen and green card holder. Also they need your background and evaluate, then decide if they will give you opportunity. But you can try, it sounds great. Good luck.

That's probably a great program. I got started doing something similar with Chubb's "Top Gun" program. But I'm looking for something more along the lines of Kineteks in North Carolina. They're a staffing company for IBM.
SetFocus supplies training which you pay for in the form of working on a term assignment. I'm looking for the consulting firms that actually put you on payroll. Ideas anyone?
Thanks,
Nelson

I'm not a consultant, but I think MarchFirst and Greenbrier-Russel put their people on a payroll.
