in command line edit java.lang<java. String some there but unable to recall that pls any body

Hmmm... I'll give it a shot a deciphering the question...

I am assuming that you once edited a file of the Java source, and now you don't remember what the file is? Keep in mind that if you have the Java source to edit, you can also take a directory to see what you have available. Take a "dir" (or "ls") and see what Java source files you have -- maybe that will help you remember.
