Hi,
Is an employer (in the U.S.) going to look down on a 1.4 SCJP, it does it make a big difference? Will it look better if I take the new exam? Everyone is saying that if you want to be employed, you should take the 1.4 because it's easier. But, I just have a hard time with that logic. Will someone please set me straight?
Thanks.

My impression is that companies in the USA do not put much stock in any such certification, much less in whether it's 1.4 or 5.
