expression - float and int in 1 expression

If have a doubt in some basic concept
i want to know ,when float and int are in 1 expression,how evaluation is done.
eg if(floatvar>intVar)
float is casted to int .

binary numeric promotion.


If T is broader than int, both operands are converted to T; otherwise, both operands are converted to int.
