I wasn't sure where to ask this... so here goes.
I'm trying to use the BeanBox to demonstrate some concepts for a lecture I'm putting together. I'm doing the simple example in the Java tutorial, where you drop two buttons and a Juggler on the BeanBox and hook up some simple events.
When I connect a button's actionPerformed to the stopJuggler or startJuggler methods on the Juggler, I get a window which says "Compiling adapter classes." Up to that point everything is fine, but then it just hangs on that window and never seems to finish compiling these classes.
I'm running BDK 1.1 (latest version as far as I know) on Windows 2000 with JDK 1.3. I've tried this on two different machines, one with a 1GHz Athlon with 384 MB ram and another 850 MHz PIII with 512 MB ram. Both exhibit the same behavior.
Are there any compatibility issues with the BDK? Do I need to be using it with JDK 1.2 instead?
Thanks!

Nevermind, I found an answer to my question. In case anyone is curious, it was a problem with the directory name that the BDK was installed in having a space in it (namely "Program Files"). Found the answer in the BDK FAQ. Guess I should use a *real* operating system, huh? :-)
