I am planning taking the SCJP exam at the beginning of next year and start looking for a job in Java in Atlanta. I heard that the IT job market is cooling down now. Any information on the job market in Atlanta? Any comments? Any suggestions about where I should look for, such as websites?
Thanks.
Judy

I just past the SJCP exam and I am looking for job recently in atlanta too. from my point of view, the SJCP is worthless. it does not make things easier when seeking job. May be it is helpful if you don't have much working exerience, otherwise I suggest you spend more time to learn some OO technology, design model, UML, etc.

A good place to look is http://www.atlanta.computerjobs.com.
The job market in Atlanta is pretty good, if you can stand the traffic. :-)
