Hi all

String test ="This is a test";
String []tokens=test.split("/s");
for (String s :tokens)
{
System.out.println("<"+s+">");
System.out.println("next");
}
System.out.println(tokens.length);

For above question its printing "This is a test" 1
I thought for using "/s" it will split the text & will give
This next Is next a next test
as "space" is our splitter.
Please explain someone...

Thanks a lot...
Tashi

The split-method probably dont find any tokens because you use wrong delimiter.

Shouldnt you write "\s" instead of "/s" ? I would try "\\s". I think there will be a compile error without two \\.
