hi friends,

I am planning to take scjp 1.4 exam and like to go with Kathy Sierra and Bert BAtes book. I hava one K&B book with me(2003 edition with ISBN num 0-07-222684-6).I had bought this book in 2004 Aug.But because of some reasons i didnt take the exam at that time. Now my problem is when I saw the syllabus in Sun's site, the syllabus has changed(no inner classses, but threads introduced). Please tell me the latest edition of K&B book with ISBN num.

And also tell me how much time do i need to take thae exam(on average). I am planning to take 1.4 not 1.5. which one is good?Either 1.4 or 1.5?please clarify my doubts.

Hi there,

here is the latest K&B book Sun Certified Programmer for Java 5 Study Guide, which is for SCJP 5.0 (Exam 310-055).

In my opinion, go for the latest, SCJP 5.0
