i got the K&B book, apress SCJP guide,
I am not sure if these would be enough for me to write the exam.

As Whizlabs costs too much for me to setup an account.

any advise?

You get usually 10% more on real exam as in Whizlabs.

There is some demo of Whizlabs for scjp 5, which I think is broken. It won't show you the number of correct answers, but you can go through them one by one, and check answers manually. You can try to search for it on google/[ a site that generally carries copyrighted material illegally ].

Also there are numerous links on mocks in faq section. I like Dan Chisholm's tests:

http://www.danchisholm.net/oct1/mybook/index.html
http://www.danchisholm.net/oct1/guide/index.html
http://www.danchisholm.net/oct1/topic/index.html

I did one or 2 two tests every day, and then some final tests on last week of preparation. Some question are very tricky, and confusing,.. which is in fact maybe the reason, why I scored so well (94%).

Whizlabs is not expensive in my opinion. It used to be like 56$ at one point in time. many people still bought it.

Yup, Whizlabs kits are 50% off through the end of the month.....The Prep kit for SCJP 5.0 is normally $75, so it's $37.50 right now. That is cheap! Plus they have a 150% money back guarantee. I picked mine up last week.

Adam,

If you haven't purchased the WhizLabs prep kit yet, I really suggest you take advantage of their current discount and get it now. I owe a large part of my SCJP 98% pass to the good folks at WhizLabs.

Thanks for the tip Kelvin. I just went in and ordered it in the nick of time. I just hope it doesn't take a month to ship as my K&B book did . I think I'm about ready to take the real exam if I can get through these little life sideswipes that have been popping up over the past couple of weeks.

And, congrats on your impressive score. :burp:

Aloha,
Doug
