Hello,

I think there is a mistake in figure 7-2 p.538.

The HashSet class implements Set interface, but the arrow used was the extends...

Am I wrong??

I don't have my K&B hardcopy handy at the moment, but in the eBook the diagram is drawn with the correct dotted arrow representing "implements".

Yes, I saw now in my ebook and the arrow is correct (and in my printed version is wrong!!)

And there is another problem: the LinkedHashSet extends from HashSet class in my printed version, but the ebook version does not show this....

That is indeed strange. I'd never noticed any discrepancies between the eBook and the printed version till now.

By the way, the K&B errata list also indicates that the printed version fails to show LinkedHashMap as a subclass of HashMap.

The ERRATA says that LinkedHashMap IS a subclass of HashMap,
isn't???

Yes, LinkedHashMap should be a subclass of HashMap. But apparently this isn't indicated on the diagram.
