Hi All

I often come up with questions about version control. My questions normally result in trawling various mailing lists.

I am sure there are a lot of people here with plenty of experience of version control systems so I am wondering if anyone would agree with me that it may be useful for a version control forum?

What do you think keyholders?

Not sure that it's a big enough topic for its own forum. Perhaps the description of the 'Ant, Maven and Other Build Tools' might be expanded to include version control as a 'build tool'?

Yeah, that would work I guess.

I've moved VC questions to the IDEs forum -- "IDEs and other tools", it's called.

I think putting version control in with build tools is a good idea. Fits better than with IDE's in my opinion.

After some discussion we decided to rename the IDE forum to "IDEs, Version Control and other tools".
