Hi Sagar,

How can you read 1.4 book for 1.5 exam?
does Khalid Mughal have - var args, auto-boxing, covariant returns, java/javac commands ...??
Don't do this mistake..
Read K and B book - ALL CHAPTERS!

yes prajal is right there are many new additions to SCJP5 apart from ch6 and ch7 from K&B which are not covered in SCJP1.4, so dnt study from two books.... that does not mean stop reading Khalid, that is one of the best books on Java but sadly that does not cover SCJP5

Better to get ONE book which is for the appropriate version and study that book completely. Then you can go for as many mocks you would like to have to.

I would suggest K&B's book which is an ultimate resource. K & B is the short form of the well known authors Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates.

Good luck
