Hey guys.Glad to see an active and happening community like this.I am planning to do SCJP Paper CX 310-055.What are the books and materials for this( I have Kathy Seira and Bert Bates With me)?

Hi Sameer,

I'll tell you, you have what you want. K&B alone is suffecient to get a good score. Go through each and every chapter carefully and do the self test at the end of each chapter. If you are thorough with the the contents of the book, you'll be good to go to exam.
Other than that try to solve as may mock exams as you can. That will help you a lot. You can find the list of mock exams on the FAQ section of this site.

PS: If you are brand new to java you might want to start with some other book that teaches you the basics. Many people suggest Head First Java, by the same authors.
