MST, and no, you can't have the time appear in your own timezone. Search this forum for "time zone" to see previous discussions.

Actually the time is in MDT at the moment, not MST. Note that this information is displayed on just about every page in the forum, near the bottom:

"All times are MDT (US) = GMT - 0600"

Daylight savings in the US runs (in most states, including Colorado where our server is located) from the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October. The rest of the year, the ranch uses MST.

Daylight savings in the US...

What the heck are "daylight savings"? Could you mean "daylight-saving"?

The official spelling is Daylight Saving Time, not Daylight SavingS Time. ... Nevertheless, many people feel the word savings (with an 's') flows more mellifluously off the tongue, and Daylight Savings Time is also in common usage, and can be found in dictionaries.

I didn't find "daylight-saving"

Isn't it odd that the word "mellifluously" doesn't flow mellifluously off the tounge.

It all depends on which style guidelines you follow.

Michael, perhaps you were looking for MD? The difference between MST and MDT is directly relevant to the original poster's question.

It's where the server is located.
