The Truth About US Tech Job Market

If you want to see the truth (one version of it anyway) about the current US tech job market, check out,1367,43101,00.html on Wired News.
I think it paints a more realistic view of the market and explains why while we are hearing now is a bad time for tech related jobs, that really isn't the total truth.

Keep in mind the source- the ITAA is a schill organization for large corporations that use body shop H-1bs. The ITAA was the #1 lobbying organization for the 600,000 H-1b quota that passed a few months ago.
Anyone who has been to a job fair or has a lot of contacts knows that there is absolutely NO shortage of IT workers at this time, save a handful of highly specialized cross-domain fields.
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
