SCJP validity

Hi,

I cleared my SCJP 1.4 in 2006. Want to know if there is any validity of certification. Am i still eligible to take SCWCD after 2 years or is it that i have to take SCJP again

Please guide

I took the SCJP 1.1 IN 1998 and the SCWCD in 2007 so I expect you will be fine (grins)

Sun's SCWCD page says:

To achieve this certification, candidates must successfully complete one exam. Prior to attempting certification, candidates must be certified as a Sun Certified Programmer (SCJP), any edition.

So you do not need to do another version of SCJP again.
