Seetarama Raju:
Please look under the "Java is Dead" articles on this forum. We have discussed this topic several times in the past three months.
What you are seeing - is a slow market - across the entire IT skill set.
Given your name - I assume you are an H1B holder. When the market gets slow - it's going to be the foreign workers who feel the pressure most. Especially those with more junior level skills.

Are any of the people who say that java is going to be "no more" saying what is going to replace it?
I am just curious.
I have seen many big companies in NYC who are switching to "Java Only" development even now.
But then again it a topic for "is Java Dead" discussion. I don't believe that it is.
