i went for an interview today and was asked the following. i didn't how to answer this question.
How was java made platform-independant or what made it platform independant.?How do developers made it

JVM Java Virtual Machine is the answer , In Java source code is compiled to byte code or .class file which is platform independent and that class file is then interpreted by Java Virtual Machine which is paltform dependent.
