I am 25 years old. I have done B.Tech Mechanical & M.B.A Marketing with one year experience in Manufacturing and one year in Marketing.

I always had lots of interest in computers but being in Ludhiana, I never got good guidance and coaching. I started preparing for SCJP 5.0 myself from November2007 onwards & now in initial stages of giving mock exams I am scoring between 70-80% marks. Before starting my study for Java I had no prior knowledge of any language not even C, C++, etc. It was really very tough for me to understand Java in the beginning but now I am comfortable with it & doing well. I have really started liking it and love to do coding a lot. But as I am getting closer to my SCJP exam some doubts have started coming up in my mind like:

1) Should my age & qualification have negative affect in getting me a job in IT Company?
2) Should I go for SAP as it has good combination with my qualification as everybody is guiding me to go for SAP?
3) If I go for SAP will SCJP certification will help me.
4) If no to SAP which other certifications should I go for which help me in getting a good java job.

I am really stressed and frustrated with all these questions your kind support & help will be highly appreciated.
