Friends, I am going to write SCJP 1.4 & prepared for the test, now some of them suggested doing 1.4 now has no value as 1.5&1.6 being introduced, is it true? or SCJP 1.4 has value now also? also i see many of the taking up 1.4 now ... Please suggest

I think you should write SCJP 1.6 as this is the latest version released in dec 2007. And also just very few things have been added, so it's not very difficult to prepare for it, if you have already prepared for 1.4.

Just read new things added to it, and write the latest one.

Dear Srikanth Eswaran i am also suggest you to take SCJP 6 and i think you can easily pass this exam because you know scjp 1.4

I'd also recommend to go for at least SCJP5.
