NIIT CLAIMS THAT THEY HAVE SAME SYLLABUS ACCORDING TO SCJP.............BUT ITS FEE ARE HIGH.......WILL IT BE WORTH TO JOIN NIIT FOR SCJP???

Do you mean to say , NIIT have same course syllabus prescribed for SCJP exam or they have same course as prescribed by SUN MICROSYSTEMS ?
i think the later one is right.
regarding SCJP i would say that first you need to be aware with java concepts then you can use Kathy Sierra book for getting in depth knowledge required for the exam.
i think that answers your question.
