In trying to learn JSP I have IIS running under Windows 2000 Professional and have installed Resin as the JSP container. It all seems to work OK. I want to write a page that sends an email using JavaMail which needs to know the SMTP host name. With my current set up, would this just be localhost?

You need to have an SMTP Server before you can send any mail. After installing the Server give the host name - if the smtp server is running on your pc , "localhost" will work.
Syed.
