Dear Friend
SCJP is no longer the criteria for getting better jobs or the right attention which you are seeking .No doubt it is a very good indicator of the strong knowledge that you are having in Java Fundamentals and OOP Concepts but today there is demand only for Server Side Java Programmers and it is better you become a Sun Certified Java Architect to get better jobs and for that you have to be an SCJP .Since you have cleared the first step kindly take the second step of becoming a Sun certified Java Architect and enhance your knowledge and job opportunities in Java .

I disagree with Krishna. See http://www.javaranch.com/ubb/Forum37/HTML/000546.html for my options on what he suggests.
