Hello,

I'm preparing to take the SCJP and i read some books about it. But what i really lack is some experience with the language. So, what i'm asking for is... can you guys me an idea about a project (something similar to SCJD i think) so i can work on it? Thanks...

Hi,

Buy the Head First Java book, read it well.

After completing it, buy the K&B book and once finished with it, do the exam.

Bought the Head First Java book and read it well.
Bought the SCJP book but not planning to read it until i write some actual code (having it near when i write code).

The SCJP book i plan to study from cover to cover before i take the exam, but i wont do that unless i write some code for an application.
