This is just one of those snippets.
especially for freshers looking for a break, the BIG guys are expanding here.
Work on C,C++ fundamentals and general aptitude and you will soon find a good job.
good luck,
karthik.

actually, freshers are required to pass a test to go to the interview level and the tests are mostly on C , C++, datastructures , algorithms and general aptitude in such companies.
A firm which solely works on web technologies might probably ask you to take a java test, but unfortuntately there are'nt many recruitng now.
Big companies might recruit freshers now and IF someone needs a job , are'nt they better off preparing for something that c'd land them with one?
Just my 2 cents worth.
karthik.

unfortunate ! that is all i can say.
Well everyone i know of got into IT companies after giving an entrance test. So did I 2 years back!
i'm surprised that a company w'd intentionally leave off someone if he is that good.
Yes if u know someone it might help but it's ridiculous to say that only "jack" works in India.
@ the moment the market is in a bad shape so getting entry level jobs is'nt going to be easy. So i guess we need to shed our frustrations and work harder.
