What is so big deal about naming policy?  RSS feed

open any thread, most of the posts are about violation of naming policy. Isnt there a better way out there....

It's site a policy and part of the bar-person's task is to make sure that it is enforced. Therefore, less time is available to read and attempt to answer questions. The same goes for duplicate posts, non-formatted code, real questions being posted, people not having initiative to search the forum, etc.

Moving to the JavaRanch forum for further discusion...

Well, the best *you* can do to improve the ratio is to post more high quality on topic posts...

Besides that, this issue has been discussed for years now, and we haven't found a better solution yet. But if you have an idea that wasn't discussed yet (search this forum to find out), we are open for suggestions...
