Problem when taking test

Hi there, last Friday (May 30th), I went to a Prometric center that is around 2.5 hours away from my town, so I got there early the test was scheduled at 10:45 am that day, and they told me that they were having issues when connecting to the Prometic server or something like that. After almost 2 hours they told me that they couldn't fix the issue, that they couldn't tell me if they were going to be able to reestablish the connection or service or whatever that day so I told them that I couldn't be waiting all day long since I didn't live there and that I was already taking a day off from work, so they asked me if I could reschedule and I said ok but then I told them that this day is the last day that I was able to take the exam since the voucher expired on may 30th they told me that they were going to check.. so then they came back and then they said that they couldn't schedule it later, so I told them what was going to happen now?.. they said that they had raised a report about it and took my phone number and e-mail address and that they would let me know. I asked them if I was going to loose my chance to take the test and they said that no, because it wasn't my fault and it wasn't their fault, they claim that it was all Prometric's fault because the server was blocked. Now I'm waiting to hear from them, has anyone ever had a problem like this?.. do you think I lost my chance for taking the exam?... regards.

No. It was not your fault and it was a technical glitch that prevented you from taking the exam. It is their duty to reschedule it for you. You can contact sun about it if things dont go as planned. I remember a Sun certification person that hangs around in our forum. Evelyn something I think. She may be able to help if things dont go well

Thanks John I called the prometic people yesterday they said that I have to wait some days until the exam status was changed on the system and then I could reschedule it.. that's great.. thanks..
